I agree. The first set of Dark Hunters books were fabulous, Leontine. Probably the best she did.

I will soon acquaint myself with Fang and Amy, Kenyon has been a good author but she was fabulous in her first eight DH books.

There have only been three books since Acheron, including Bad Moon Rising.

I haven't read the past two: One Silent Night (Stryker's book) and Dream Warrior (Cratus' book).

I've been really bad about keeping up with Kenyon's books after Acheron was released. I don't even know how many books behind I am now. I know I read the book immediately after Acheron, but that's it.

I have an awful memory. lol
So I was left floundering in this book regarding past events, but I felt that the characters popping in and out of the book didn't show any personality. They were just…there.

Thanks. I tried to concentrate on Fang's and Aimee's relationship in the review, but their relationship faded into the background somewhat. There was so much happening in the book.

Are Ash and Tory getting another book? I liked their story, but I agree it was short compared to others.

I love Kenyon, but I'm with ya about the story falling a little flat. I mean we've been waiting for Amy's and Fang's Story forever…so I kind of wanted more 1 on 1 time for Fang and Amy. I do enjoy the sneak peaks Kenyon gives in her books for upcoming characters, I've been waiting for Jaden (Demon Broker) story forever. And I want Acheron and Tory's story part 2, it was just oo short IMO.

This is in my tbr – I do like this series, but like you said, it has been awhile since I last read one, and there is always so much going on. I have completely forgotten a lot of the big points. I also wasn't sure if I would like the book going back to so much of the past…we shall see:)
