If you could combine a kick ass fighting team, that consists of other characters from other books, who would they be?

I would pair up Cat & Bones, Mercy Thompson & Stefan (from Patricia Briggs), Rhage & Vishous (from JR Ward) and Kaderin & Sebastian (from Kresley Cole).

My ultimate team would consist of Cat and Bones, Zsadist and Quinn from the Black Dagger Brotherhood, Gena Showalter’s Lucian from Lords of the Underworld, and Christine Feehan’s Saber Wynter and House of Night’s Zoe. It’s not huge but you cover the basic elements- dead sexy and scary as hell!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Night Huntress series, and First Drop of Crimson was no different. Even without a “chapter 32″ it was every bit as exciting and emotional as the rest of the books.

My kick-ass team (so hard to narrow down) would be Cat & Bones (duh), Elena & Clay (Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Underworld), Rose & Dimitri (Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy), Camille & Morio (Yasmine Galenorn’s Sisters of the Moon), Xhex and Rhage (J R Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood… and no, they’re not a couple, but DAMN, can you imagine THAT fighting duo?).

There are so many really great heroes and heroines in this genre, but I tried to create a team, not an army, lol.

Awesome interview! I read FIRST DROP today & it is awesome! I couldnt put it down so i kept getting yelled at while i was @ work!

Anyways…My kick ass team would include Cat & Bones (night huntress), Rose & Demetri (vampire academy), Eric Bill & Alcide (sookie stackhouse series), The Cullens including bella since her new vamp power is phenominal (twilight series obviously, even though alot of people lost faith in them for some reason),& Anita Blake!!! (anita blake series; would love for her & cat to meet!)

Hi all, those combinations in your comments sound like amazingly bad-ass teams!

Twimom asked if First Drop of Crimson could be read without reading the other Night Huntress books. Yes. It’s a stand-alone, so there’s enough background information for news readers to pick it up even if they’ve never read anything of mine before.

Tunga, the “chap 32″ mention refers to a certain, ah, rather sexy chapter in my second book, ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE. I’ve gotten a lot of prods from readers to write another chapter like it, lol.

love the interview and for my kickass team I’d pick Charles and Anna from Patrick Briggs books, Zarak, Ash, Tory, Kat from SKenyon’s book and for a shapeshifter I pick Cullen, Vane(he’s magical too), and sarah and Zach from Pack challenge. And for vamps I pick Cat and Bones
