  16. Ooo Ooo Ooo Bag 2! No! Bag 1! No! Both! No… I’d love to have either, seriously, and I love the idea of the pretty bags.

Number 2 is probably more my stride, though I’ll just be excited to get back into some straight romances (no offence, JD Robb. you’ve been great and all, but I need a break. Something swoopy and swoonworthy will do :)

I’ve just started on Charlaine Harris’s Sookie Stackhouse novels (quite late, I know!), so Dead Until Dark is one of my top romance reads for the summer.

Another big romance book for me is Johanna Lindsey’s latest Mallory Novel: That Perfect Someone.

    I’d love bag 2!

  35. Ok, I have a few to choose from
    1. An Almost Perfect Summer by Rona S. Zable

It is about a teenage girl who goes to work as an au pair/mother’s helper for a rich family over summer, and begins to fall for the handsome young man who lives next door. I really enjoyed this novel, it is the perfect YA summer novel, very well written and romantic. Definitely the type of novel one wants to read while lazing under the sun.

    2. Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez

This is not only for summer, but I did read it during one of my summer breaks, and it is one of my favourite tales of romance, of love that survives decades. I think it is absolutely a wonderful novel and very romantic in its own, original way. In some ways it is unexpected, for example the way that has so many different flings with so many women, some of which end tragically, and yet after he can honestly say he has only ever loved and is still awaiting her. And they finally do get together. Lovely.

    3. Lastly, so as not to bore you, A Summer Storm by Robyn Donald. This is a classic romance, a simple school teacher is swept of her feet by a handsome rich successful man, falls in love, but is convinced that he is only after a short fling. She can’t imagine that he could be in love with her, but soon has to realise that her opinion of him may be wrong

I would most definitely like to win bag#1 please.

Thank you for a great competition.
