Camilla can set her watch by her hunky rocket-scientist neighbor who jogs past her window each day. She relishes each glimpse of his shirtless abs, and is dying to see more. But it’s hard to connect with a man who doesn’t seem to know she exists…

Ivan feels at home in the lab, not in social situations. When he finally approaches his attractive neighbor, it’s not for a date—he wants tutoring in how to behave at an important fundraiser. Ivan doesn’t expect the chemistry between them to be quite so explosive, and is surprised when Cami actually accepts his proposal to embark on a series of “lessons”.

Cami soon discovers Ivan’s schedule isn’t the only thing he likes to be strict about—he needs to be charge in the bedroom as well. She’s shocked at how much she comes to enjoy her submissive side, but wonders if a real relationship is in the equation…

When I saw Delphine’s tweet about this title on twitter, I thought this looks like something I may like. I’m so glad I requested this because I was due an awesome BDSM romance after my disastrous last BDSM romance read where the hero, after meeting the heroine for a few days, demanded she give up her entire life for him on a farm O.O

The Theory of Attraction features two geeks for protagonists, and Ivan was such an unusual hero. He was socially awkward, he could be cutting at times, and he had no patience for human interaction. He was 28 years old, but at times he came off as much younger. But when it came to being a Dominant, he had no misgivings. I couldn’t get a handle on Ivan and I liked that aspect of him. He was a little unpredictable and I honestly didn’t know what his reactions would be emotionally with Cami.

Cami was super cute, and I laughed when her plans of the initial seduction of Ivan were disturbed by their equally smart and nerdy friends in the complex building. Cami had never partook in the BDSM lifestyle before, but her enthusiasm and the care that Ivan took with her was quite romantic. He never took her places that she didn’t want to go, and it was sweet seeing Ivan being awkwardly affectionate after the smexy times. And the smexy times were very well written. Ivan despite all his awkwardness and grumpiness knew his way around the bedroom.

My only complaint about the book that it ended too quickly. I kind of hope that the author will write more books about these characters. I would love to see how their relationship evolves more emotionally and see where life takes them, and I can definitely see Ivan developing more as a character. This book really made for a great change with unique characters that don’t usually fit the norm in other erotic romances. Both were super intelligent, nerdy to the bone, and adorable to boot.

The Theory of Attraction is a fun sexy romance featuring two characters that were unique and very memorable. I give The Theory of Attraction an A-
