Ooooh, an “undercover” local hero!
I love it that romance is moving slightly away from pirate/duke/sheikh/SEAL/billionaire heroes (not that there’s anything wrong with them!) towards more easily accessible “realistic” heroes. Actually, now that I wrote that – I think I mean that romance writers as well as readers are ready to embrace the more beta males IN ADDITION to the alpha males.
And of course, you can’t beat a good man battling his attraction to his best friend’s sister! We all know he is doomed to fail 😀
Also, I read The Derby Girl, I loved it and I am sure In The Clear will be just as great 🙂
