Release Week Bonanza Giveaway and Grand Tour of The Twelve Kingdoms: Day 6

Day 6 – Windroven

jeffegraphicCastle Windroven sits on the westernmost shoreline of the Kingdom of Avonlidgh, separated from the Onyx Ocean by the rugged Crane Isthmus. Built on an extinct volcano, Windroven possesses a natural, craggy look that’s very different than Castle Ordnung. The passages inside Windroven extend deep into the old lava tunnels, giving the place more of an organic feel. With the long, narrow road to ascend to the castle itself, Windroven has long been a stronghold of the Avonlidgh kings, able to withstand extended sieges. More than that, Windroven’s position on the high cliffs overlooking the ocean make it a dramatically beautiful location. The sound of the surf and the near-constant coastal breezes resonate through the castle. Though the winters are stormy, the summers can be spectacular with a panorama of wildflowers on the cliffs.

  1. Today’s dream destination would be the Bahamas – the white sandy beaches and beautiful blue waters, that would be a fabulous trip!

  2. From one of my favorite authors, Carly Phillips’ town of Serendipity would be a fabulous place to visit!

  3. I keep seeing the word Avondlicht in stead of Kingdom of Avonlidgh, which means Eveninglight in Dutch. The more posts I read, the more I want to read this book.

    Another vacation spot, hmm, Australia.
