I really like this series! And I didn’t know there is novella out in May! But I liked the contrast and the world-building is great!

I’m a huge fan of Lorraine Heath’s westerns but she lost me a few years back when she switched gears and started adding in mystery subplots. Her earlier books were so filled with grueling emotion that I imagine it must have been emotionally draining for her to write them. I should give her a try again. Thanks for the review.
