Cowboy Justice (Catcher Creek #2) by Melissa Cutler – Oct 1st (Zebra)
Transforming their parents’ rundown ranch in Catcher Creek, New Mexico, into a tourist destination is the toughest challenge the three Sorentino sisters ever faced. But now one of them has another fight on her hands—to keep from falling for the sexy town sheriff—again…
Rachel Sorentino has spent her whole life protecting her siblings from trouble—only to run headlong into it herself. Her first regret about shooting at the vandals targeting her family is that her aim wasn’t better. Her second is that when bullets started flying, it was Sheriff Vaughn Cooper’s number she dialed. Vaughn is the mistake she keeps on making, a cowboy lawman who cuts through Rachel’s surface bravado to the vulnerability no one else sees. And no matter how inconvenient their attraction—for his career, her tangled case, and their already battered hearts—there’s no denying what feels so irresistibly right…

The Way Home (One-Eyed Jacks #2) by Cindy Gerard – Oct 29th (Gallery Books)
A heartwarming Christmas story from the New York Times bestselling “true master of romantic suspense” (Romantic Times). Four years ago Jess Albert got the news that her husband Jeff was killed in action in Afghanistan, and a painful void entered her life. The more time passed, the more acutely she felt that emptiness. And those who are closest to him, and might provide secondary targets, are going along. Second Sight And Seduction…
Daniel Mackenzie lives up to the reputation of the scandalous Mackenzie family—he has wealth, looks, and talent, and women love him. Love Lessons by Heidi Cullinan – Oct 1st (Samhain)
Love doesn’t come with a syllabus.
Kelly Davidson has waited what seems like forever to graduate high school and get out of his small-minded, small town. But when he arrives at Hope University, he quickly realizes finding his Prince Charming isn’t so easy. Everyone here is already out. In fact, Kelly could be the only virgin on campus.
Worst of all, he’s landed the charming, handsome, gay campus Casanova as a roommate, whose bed might as well be equipped with a revolving door.
Walter Lucas doesn’t believe in storybook love. Everyone is better off having as much fun as possible with as many people as possible…except his shy, sad little sack of a roommate is seriously screwing up his world view.
As Walter sets out to lure Kelly out of his shell, staying just friends is harder than he anticipated. He discovers love is a crash course in determination. To make the grade, he’ll have to finally show up for class…and overcome his own private fear that love was never meant to last.
Warning: This story contains lingering glances, milder than usual sexual content for this author, and a steamy dance-floor kiss. Story has no dairy or egg content, but may contain almonds.

Sweet (True #2) by Erin McCarthy – Oct 15th (InterMix)

Tempt the Stars (Cassandra Palmer #6) by Karen Chance – Oct 1st (Signet Select)
Being a goddess is a lot less fun than you might think. Especially when you’re only a half goddess, and you only found out about it recently, and you still don’t know what you’re doing half the time. And when you’ve just used your not-so-reliable powers to burglarize the booby-trapped office of a vampire mob boss.
Yeah, that part sucks.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg for Cassandra Palmer, aka the Pythia, the freshly minted chief seer of the supernatural world. After all, Cassie still has to save a friend from a fate worse than death, deal with an increasingly possessive master vampire, and prevent a party of her own acolytes from unleashing a storm of fury upon the world. Totally just your average day at the office, right?

Pingback: Jeffe Kennedy » Win-A-Book and Wednesday Wows!
I’m very interested in Hanna Martine’s new book – I read her first PNR and enjoyed a lot.
I also want the new Gerard!!!
You already have the new Nalini Singh book, but can’t make time to read it? Wow. I would give up a night of sleep if I had to, and be a zombie at the office for a day.
There are a lot of great books coming out this month. Jennifer Ashley is one of them.
@Mandi: Good stuff! And yes, the Gerard book looks like a great read for this time of year!
@xaurianx: I know, right? Mostly I’m just trying to forget that I have it waiting on my kindle, lol:-) But really, I kind of have to wait. If I read it now, not only would I use up time I need to get to the books I have scheduled first, but I’d forget what I read (with enough detail) when it comes time to sit down with the other Book Pushers to write our “mega joint review” of it. I find I can’t move on to another review book until I’ve written the review for the one I just finished. My memory sucks like that:-/ So…I’m waiting. I only have two more books to get through first, though, so that’s not too bad!
