It has been a while since I have done one of these. Thanks to the generosity of Bookalicious Pam I have a total of 10 copies of The Bee’s Knees by Lorelie Brown to giveaway. Five of them will be given away on twitter this weekend and the other five will be provided to commentators on this blog post. Since this story was surprise to me leave a comment talking about your favorite surprise to enter. I will announce the winners Tuesday. Good luck!
Marianne Timmons yearns to get away from her father, an insane widower and leader of a snake-handling church. As Marianne and her sister escape from their enraged father, they run smack in front of Caleb Sentinel’s souped-up Packard. All Marianne wants is a ride to her aunt’s house in Virginia. By the end of their journey, all Caleb wants is forever…
I don’t think I really have a favorite surprise… I like surprises of little things, like an unexpected love note or small, thoughtful presents.
I like surprising my husband with extravagant Christmas gifts. I’ll have to DM you if you want to know this year’s as it’s a closely guarded secret!
I love getting letters I’m not expecting in the mail or texts from friends issuing last-minute surprise invitations….but I hate surprise visits. 😉
My fave surprise was when my family surprised me with a cake shaped like a book for my birthday.
my favorite surprise will be when my friends or someone i know, send me some books or bought me some gifts 🙂
Finding out I was pregnant was such a lovely surprise.
Finding a stray kitten under the car and adopting her.
I like new author surprises: when I read a great book from an author I haven’t read before.
My favorite surprises are book surprises – when you read a book that you don’t have high expectations for and you end up loving it – that creates a buzz that usually lasts a couple of days for me.
One of the best surprises was the arrival of my niece.
A recent lovely surprise was when our daughter made dinner.
