Today was have paranormal romance author Anne Marsh here to talk to us about her latest release, His Dark Bond. Anne, take it away!
His Dark Bond
I love fallen angels. As heroes, fallen angels are dark, sexy, and so damned alpha. The heroes of my book are take-charge warriors who, despite their Fall from heavenly grace, have a bedrock core of honor and a fierce desire to do what is right. The hero of my current release, His Dark Bond, is also an unrepentant bad boy—my favorite kind of hero, especially once my heroine gets her hands on his heart. She’s his last hope for salvation, whether he wants to be saved—or not.
Clearly, I’m not the only one in love with the bad boys of the angel world. My “first” was J.R. Ward’s Lassiter; after him, I’ve spent hours lost in other fallen angel books by J.R. Ward, Michele Hauf, Gena Showalter, Meljean Brook, Nalini Singh, Kristina Douglas and Cynthia Eden. I was hooked.
Zer is no angel—well, not anymore. He’s explored every flavor of sin imaginable, drinking in the pleasures of humanity. But now he must find the woman who carries his salvation in her very blood… a woman like Nessa St. James.
Nessa has considered the bargain the Fallen offer. Anything she wants in exchange for accepting Zer’s bond? No way. Not her. Not when she finds out about the mind-blowing ritual involved, and the marks of surrender that will ink her skin. But with a serial killer to stop and centuries of experience on his side, this is one job Zer’s going to nail.
Excerpt:
The erotic stillness of her body as she tried to make sense of an overload of sensations rocked his world, teasing all his senses with sensual promise. And then she melted into his embrace.
Good. “First time, baby,” he promised. He moved up her body, bit lightly at the smooth skin of her throat, marking her. Next time she wore that damn chignon of hers, the whole world would see his mark of possession. Would know that she belong to him.
He shouldn’t be doing this, but the pleasure was a torment now. So long since he’d felt this sense of welcome. Homecoming. As if, in all the universe, this was the one place he belonged. A male could drown in this pleasure.
Christ, he wanted this to be right for her. For him to be her fantasy the way she was his.
Ruthlessly, he stripped off his boots and pants. Shot a look at the shadows. Solid as a rock, there was his boy. Nael hadn’t moved from his position in the darkness. Safe. So, he slid his weapon under the pillow but didn’t remove the pair of blades strapped to his upper arm. Nael had his back, but no way would Zer risk Nessa now. She was worth too damn much. Losing her wasn’t an option, and for reason he didn’t want to explore. Not now.
Covering her, he deliberately bore down with his weight, pinning her to the bed. Her husky feminine moan went straight to his head.
“Bond with me,” he growled.
Her answer, when it came, rocked his world.
“Yes,” she groaned, licking at his ear. “You bond with me.”
Which fallen angel book sticks in your heart and your memory? I’d love to give away a signed set of Fallen books (Bond with Me and His Dark Bond), so leave a comment and tell me which story you can’t forget. Giveaway is open internationally and ends February 10th. Good Luck!
I have been stalking these books, I want them!
I have only read one fallen angel series and that’s the one by JR Ward. My favorite book in that series is definitely Envy. The bond between Adrian and Eddy is so touching and I cried over what happened. That’s a book I’ll never forget.
My favorite angel series is Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunters, but they aren’t really “fallen angels”, per se. I do like Heather Killough-Walden’s latest Lost Angels series.
When I first started reading PNR, Angels didn’t fit into the genre for me because I mostly read about vampires and werewolves. Adding angels in PNR just didn’t sound right to me at first. My first fallen angels I read was in Meljean Brook’s Guardian’s series and I was on the fence about their place in PNR. But now I really like reading about angels. I loved Joey Hill’s Mermaid’s Kiss which have a fallen angel in it. I have also read Bond With Me and I really enjoyed it and I would LOVE to have autographed copies of your books!
My favorite but so far ^^ only book with fallen angel oups no! i’ve got two mermaid kiss by joey hill and in the succubus serie from richelle me there are some too.
thanks you a lot for opening this giveway worldwide i would be delighted to discover your books
all the best
My favorite is The Fallen series by Kristina Douglas. I can’t wait to read the next book that comes out in April!
Books that I have read and loved with either Earth bound &/or fallen angels include Kerrelyn Sparks’ VAMPIRE MINE and Larissa Ione’s Demonica & Lords of Deliverance series. Ms. Ione’s series features multiple angels, both good and more fallen/evil. I can’t wait to read more about her angels and find out more about them.
I love JR’s Fallen series!!
I love Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series and Becca Fitzpatick’s Hush, Hush Series. Both have awesome angels.
Larissa Ione’s Demonica series.
I enjoyed Christina Henry’s Black Wings and Black Night, which featured fallen angels, demons and an Agent of Death with a gargoyle sidekick.
I really enjoyed Where Demons Fear to Tread by Stephanie Chong. Thanks for the awesome giveaway! I don’t read nearly enough fallen angel books.

Envy by JR Ward. Everytime I hear “Calling All Angels” by Train I think of Adrian and Eddy. It just grabbed my heart and won’t let go.
Thanks for the fantastic giveaway! I’m with Mariee… The Fallen series by Kristina Douglas is fantastic! I also love Nalini Singh’s Hunter Guild series but they aren’t so much fallen as a different class/mythology of angel.
You books sound fantastic! Definitely would love a chance to read them 🙂
The Lords of the Underworld- I can’t forget Lucien’s story in The Darkest Night
J.R> Wards Fallen series, so far the latest, Envy, has been my favorite. These Fallen truly suffer. I could do with a little less than suffering than she puts them through, but it;’s different from the rest of the pack.

These angels books are as good as Nalini Singh’s Angels series. Looking forward to reading more angels books.
I love the Demonica & Lords of Deliverance series by Larissa Ione. Not easy to forget that’s for sure.
Nalini Singh’s Angel’s Blood (or anything Raphael or Bluebell related) hands down is my favourite…sigh.
I like “Fallen” by Erin McCarthy from her Seven Deadly Sins series
Thank you for hosting this giveaway
I would have to say that I really like Heather Killough-Walden’s Angel series. I just finished Avenger’s Angel and loved it. Thanks for the giveaway and I loved the excerpt above.
Vampire Mine is the fallen angel story that most sticks in my mind, probably because it was the first fallen angel story that I can recall reading!! This series sounds awesome, Anne, and I would love to win a copy so I can get reading!! Thanks so much for the terrific giveaway:)

Thanks for the giveaway! This book sounds awesome! There are so many stories that I can never forget. The Vampire Academy, The Last Song (Nicholas Sparks), The Hunger Games, The Daughter of Smoke and Bone, The Duke of Shadows, … there are so many. Hi, I was surprised to find your give-away that I am not late for. I loved your Bond With Me – I like your style, how you develope the story without loosing my interest along the way when two relationships are intertwined. Your Hunt is on my to-read list after His Dark Bond. Angel’s Consort and whole serie by Nalini Singh is a must as well. I can’t put down book where the world is so unprecedently thought out…
JR Ward series
