Tucson Festival of Books Giveaway

Since it’s debut in 2009, the Tucson Festival of Books has grown to become one of the biggest book festivals in the US. Almost every genre is represented, and the festival does an amazing job of bringing together authors and readers who share a love of all things books.

I’ve been going to the festival every year now, and have met some amazing people along the way. Gini Koch, Marcy Rockwell, Erin Quinn, HelenKay Dimon, Shiloh Walker, Zoe Archer, Brenda Novak, Julia Quinn, and many more have come to Tucson, signed books, and connected with readers.

This year, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting authors that I was really excited about. I got the chance to corner Sharon Sala between panels, and chatted her up about everything from her life in Oklahoma to her writing career, to the joys of children. Cathy Maxwell and Cathy McDavid had a wonderful panel where they joked about their writing process, and we all got to share in some laughs about the growth of their books. I also had the pleasure of chatting with new-to-me author Sharon Hamilton about the sexy men in the Navy SEALS, as well as the real estate market (of all things).

It was a great festival this year, and while I didn’t have the chance to go to as many panels as I normally do, just walking around and seeing just how many book lovers there are in Tucson gave me great joy.

I urge both readers and authors who are interested in getting out of the cold in mid-March to come to Arizona for next year’s festival.

I have two wonderful prize packs to giveaway this year.

1. Signed copy of Accidental SEAL by Sharon Hamilton (who graciously donated her book), Signed copy of Going Once by Sharon Sala, copy of A Change of Fortune by Crystal Green and The Rogue’s Proposal by Jennifer Haymore. Also included is a coupon for a free ebook from Gini Koch, a 50% off coupon for two Jemma Chase books, and tons of swag.

2. Signed copy of The Comeback Cowboy and The Accidental Sheriff by Cathy McDavid, signed copy of The Bride Says No by Cathy Maxwell, and a signed copy of The Five Deaths of Roxanne Love by Erin Quinn (who also was wonderful enough to donate her book). This pack also has Laura Abbot’s Into the Wilderness. There is a coupon for a free ebook from Gini Koch, a 50% off coupon for two Jemma Chase books, and tons of swag.

To be entered to win, please let a comment and let me know which prize pack you’d like to win, as well as an author you would love to meet. I’ll pick two winners next weekend.

Good luck!

MinnChica can usually be found with her nose in a book (or nook), and can ALWAYS find a few minutes to read: stuck at a red light, sitting in the doctors office, on her lunch break. She's so addicted to reading that her family frequently threatens to host an intervention. Currently MinnChica is devouring every romance book she can get her hands on, especially ones that feature 'friends to lovers' stories. Some of her favorite authors currently are Ilona Andrews, Jill Myles, Meljean Brook, Nalini Singh and Susan Mallery.

I would like either prize package. I would like to meet Sharon Shinn or Karen Chance or Nalini Singh or…There are so many I would like to meet.

All of those authors are new to me, so I’d be happy to read any of their books or meet any of them!

I’d go for package 2, though they are both wonderful. I would love to meet Gini Koch (who is also Anita Ensal). I am glad you had such a great time, and you are right, walking between so many booklovers is the most amazing thing of a convention.

Either one of the prize packs would be awesome to win! Thanks so much for the opportunity. I’ve met quite a few authors over the years but Gini Koch is one I haven’t met yet. I think it would be wonderful to meet her, she’s got such a great sense of humor.

Either package would be great; thanks. I’d like to meet Lisa Kleypas or Julia Quinn. Thanks for the giveaway.

I would love to go to the book festival. There are so many authors I would love to meet, but my absolute favorite would be Jill Shalvis. Love her books and her sense of humor. I think my favorite package to win would be #1. Thanks for the chance to win!!

I would love the first prize pack!! As for an author I’d like to meet, I think top of my list right now would be Shayla Black, Maya Banks or Angela Graham. Thanks for the giveaway 🙂

I would love to win Prize package #2. It is because I have a copy of the Rogue’s Proposal already.

The Tuscon Book Festival sounds like so much fun. If I were to ever meet an author, I would love to meet Nora Roberts since I’ve read so many of her books. Please enter me for prize pack #2 and thanks for the chance to win this fabulous giveaway!

Please enter me to win prize 1. I would love to meet Nora Roberts since I have been reading her stories for such a long time.

How wonderful that you’ll be going to Tucson for the festival! I went to college there and have missed the warm sunny weather since I left! I hope you have a wonderful time while you’re there.

I’d love to win a copy of The Rogue’s Proposal by Jennifer Haymore!

Either pack would be amazing thank you, but I will say #2.

I’d love to meet Neil Gaiman or Eloisa James or Terry Pratchett.

I’d be interested in either. I’d like to meet Charlaine Harris to discuss her Southern vampire series and it’s interpretation as True Blood on tv.

I would love package #1, although both are great! I would be thrilled to meet Carla Kelly, Patricia Briggs, or Ilona Andrews (both of them, if possible!), and so many others! Thanks so much for the giveaway.
